Faridabad(Standard news/manoj bhrdwaj)…Rotary Club of Faridabad Mid Town lead by Charter President J.P. Malhotra joined by President Rtn. Sudhir Jaini, Chairman Literacy Rtn. H.S. Malik, PP Rtn. Sunil Gupta and PE Rtn. Anil Behl inaugurated the newly commissioned Computer Literacy Centre @ Arya Kanya Gurukal, Village Hasanpur Distt. Palwal on 20th May. The Six Station Brand New computers donated and organised by Rotary Club of Faridabad Mid Town with support of SIDBI Faridabad will enable the 100 girls staying and getting Gurukul Style education to learn computer operations and use which will enhance their skills and employability once they complete their education.Sh. Aman Singh Shastri, Chairman Trustee profusely thanked Rotary for their novel and noble act. This is for the first time that these girls drawn from different BPL strata of society will be exposed and enriched by computer skills. It was dream come true for them. Sh. Dangi and Madam Nisha Acharya thanked Rotary for their efforts to infuse modern education to Gurukul system.In his address, Mr. J.P. Malhotra thanked DG Dr. N. Subramanian for leading the district in a humble way and promoting community need based project and emphasises on TEACH & WinS (Wash in Schools). He also thanked Sh. Sanjay Goyal, GM RO and Sh. Rishi Dwivedi, Dy. GM SIDBI Faridabad for their benevolent support for this women empowerment project of Rotary Club of Faridabad Mid Town which is going to Make a Difference to the lives of these girls.Rotary Club plans to associate itself with similar NGOs and will install two Handwashing Stations in Gurukul courtesy Rtn. Amarjeet Singh Lamba, the President Nominee of the Club. Rtn. H.S. Malik assured the Gurukul to get assistance from the Child Welfare Fund of Govt. of Haryana for Palwal and Faridabad Branch as per Norms.DG Dr. N. Subramanian and First lady Dr. Lalita congratulated Mr. J.P. Malhotra and his Team for delivering such a commendable project. PP Rtn. Satish Gossain, PJS Sarna, Sant Gopal Gupta, GPS Chopra, Manohar Puniani, Jatinder Singh Chhabra and other Rotarians appreciated the efforts.
