Faridabad(standard news/manoj bhardwaj) Keeping the promise of providing innovation-based education to its pupils in the field of science and engineering, Manav Rachna International University (MRIU) is organizing a two-day National Conference on Networking, Cloud Computing, Analytics & Computing Technology beginning 26th May, 2017.The Conference which will go on till May 27, 2017 is being organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Faculty of Engineering and Technology, MRIU. The idea behind the event is to promote scientific exchange among students, faculty, researchers and industry experts.In his Welcome Address, Dr. N. C. Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIU wished the Conference to be a great learning experience for the participants. He said that MRIU is a dynamic campus with unlimited educational opportunities wherein such events are held frequently to update students’ knowledge while enabling them to interact with experts from various backgrounds. As the recipients of this knowledge, the younger generation would be able contribute effectively towards the ‘Skill Development’ initiatives of our Government like Make in India. Furthermore, he said, “By 2030, India will become the youngest nation of the world because every fourth person will be a graduate and will add to the workforce. This will be our demographic advantage. Hence, we can initiate and explore measures to create and disseminate knowledge in the emerging areas of Computing.”Seconding Dr. N.C. Wadhwa, the Guest of the Day, Mr. Sandeep Malhotra, VP, HCL Technologies explained the business dynamics of various companies such as Flipcart, PayTm, Shopclues, Ola Cabs, Google etc. along with the role technology has played in elevating these companies. He said that the shelf life of the company has reduced from 75 years to 15 years. Today’s market is data-driven and works because of the user experience and convenience. He also spoke about data sets, software-defined networks, Artificial Intelligence to build applications, emergent jobs in cloud modernization, maintenance and support.Around 50 research papers from various areas will be presented and published at the Conference. The selected papers will be published in one of the Two Scopus indexed Journals, namely, International Journal of Information Technology and Web Engineering (IJITWE) and International Journal of Advanced Media and Communications respectively.Prof. (Dr.) M.
