Faridabad(standard news)……Bhartiya Yuva Shakti Trust presented Awards to winners of Business Idea Contest at a well attended function held at BYST Faridabad on 23rd March in presence of large number of Senior Industry entrepreneurs who are mentors and BYST Partners and engaged in carrying forward the object of BYST to produce job entrepreneurs and creators.The First Award of Rs. 50000/- was presented to Mr. Anchal who submitted an idea of Urban Thela – a first and only superfood company in India which will prepare nutritional and healthy foods and promote public health. Team of Dushyant and Anmol bagged the Second Award of Rs. 30000/- for the idea for improving the condition of trash and garbage, provide waste management solution and ultimately produce energy and eliminate landfills.Ms. Niharika Bhatia who wants to open a Restaurant which would serve healthy and hygienic food, provide employment to Ladies only was given 3rd Award of Rs. 20000/-. The restaurant will provide regional food for all states and focus would be to keep it handmade only as far as possible.Ms. Akansha and Ms. Komal were given Appreciation Certificates for their idea to set up a unit to produce designer pillow covers/napkins/bags out of surplus, waste cloth and cuttings from tailors. The idea will keep the product cost low by using waste.The Awardees were selected by an eminent Jury consisting of Maj. Gen. S.K. Datt, Chairman Strategic Committee, Mr. J.P. Malhotra, Mentor and President DLF Industries Association, Mr. A.K. Gour and other senior mentors. The Jury had a tough time to select 5 out of 700 ideas received. Maj. Gen. S.K. Datt informed that Business Idea Contest was launched on 24th June 2016 by then Dy. Commissioner Faridabad Sh. Chander Shekhar in presence of large number of prospective entrepreneurs. BYST invited ideas/hints/ proposals to pick up prospective entrepreneurs, help them set up units and create employment.Prominent amongst those present were S/Sh. S.K. Datt, A.K. Gaur, J.P. Malhotra, S. Mohan Singh, K.K. Aggarwal, DGM Syndicate Bank, S.N. Dua, N.P. Bhatnagar, P.P. Popli, M.M. Talwar, Ms. Ranjana Sharma, Ms. Geeta Saini and representatives of skilling centres like Spark Institute, Khazani Vocational Institute, Maxx Academy, Haryana State Productivity Council and many others.
