Delhi/Faridabad…..President DLF Industries Association, Mr. J.P. Malhotra, had interaction with Hon’ble Sh. Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Minister for Skill Development, Govt. of India on issue of formal skilling by MSME and grant of resources for carrying out in house or cluster based short duration Training of the current and probable employees during the AIMA National Management Convention held on 21-22 September 2016.Mr. J.P. Malhotra urged the Minister to ease of norms for Industry Associations to enter to Sector Specific Training Councils because Faridabad being an Automobile Hub dominated by Light Engineering MSMEs, Textile Printing, Dyeing and Garment Manufacturing units catering to large industrial houses and manufacturers all over India be it Maruti, Honda, Suzuki, TVS, Bajaj, Sonalika, Tafe Eicher, Fiat, Hyundai or garment sectors such as GAP, Calvin Klein etc.The Minister appreciated when informed that more than 10000 women employees work in DLF Industrial Area in the Garment Sector and need special skill sets to be efficiently used by Industries to meet export demands.
